JUSTINE ANDERSON

Principal Psychologist

Justine is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist first registered with AHPRA in 1998 she has worked with children, adolescents, young people and their families throughout her career.  With experience in both metropolitan and rural settings Justine brings fun and playfulness into her evidence based practice and uses innovation and technology to help children & young people make changes in their lives. Justine works with children & young people up to the age of 25 years.  

Justine completed her Master of Psychology (Child & Educational) in 1997 at Monash University. She is a full member of EMDRAA and is one of our EMDR clinicians.  Justine is a Board Approved Supervisor.

Justine is available Monday - Thursday, and Friday once a month.

SUKIE HODGSON

Child Psychologist

Sukie is a psychologist who works with children, adolescence and young adults. Utilising a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's needs, Sukie is committed to providing effective and compassionate care. Sukie has experience working for the Department of Education, teaching at a university level and working in private practice. Sukie has training and experience in completing diagnostic assessments including autism and ADHD assessment as well as cognitive and academic achievement testing. 

Sukie completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science and Graduate Diploma of Psychology and is one of our EMDR clinicians.

Sukie is available Monday - Thursdays in clinic and works remotely on Fridays. 

KATIE GALLOP

Psychologist

Katie is an experienced psychologist having completed her Masters in Professional Psychology. Katie has worked in many roles such as DHHS, Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault, Berry Street and Take Two.

Katie works with all ages.

Katie completed her Bachelor of Behavioural Science at Monash University in 2005 before completing a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology at Charles Sturt University in 2015 and a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of New England in 2020 to qualify as a psychologist in 2023.

Katie will be offering cognitive and Vineland assessments at think.grow.connect every second Thursday.

HELEN BYRNES

Adult Psychologist

Helen has her Masters in Psychology and over 20 years experience working in the mental health industry. Helen has worked in many roles including GARDAS and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

Helen completed her training to qualify as a registered nurse in 1971 before going on to train as a psychologist. Helen completed her Master of Psychology (Health) degree at Monash University in 2008.

Helen is currently working with individuals aged 25+ years.

Helen is available every second Tuesday and Wednesday.

MARIA MARINO

Counsellor

Maria is one of the counsellors at think.grow.connect and has ten years of experience. She is passionate about supporting children (and their parents/carers) and believes in the therapeutic powers of play - using play to explore mindfulness, attachment and regulation. Maria works with children who have experienced trauma and neurodivergent children. Currently, she is completing study to register as a qualified Synergetic Play Therapist. 

Maria has completed her Bachelor of Arts (The University of Melbourne 2007), Master of Teaching (The University of Melbourne 2009) and Master of Counselling (Monash University 2014). 

Maria is available on Monday - Wednesday and Fridays.

SEAN MCLOUGHLIN

Mental Health Social Worker

Seán is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker at think.grow.connect. He is one of our EMDR clinicians and provides therapy to all ages specialising in healing from trauma. Seán has worked in government and not-for-profit organisations, across statutory services, child youth and family services, and community development. Additionally, Seán has worked in inpatient psychiatric practice and community mental health with children and young people. At home Seán enjoys art, gardening, and being creative.

Sean holds a Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) from Charles Sturt University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Monash University.

Sean is available Monday - Friday.

JOANNE VERRILL

Social Worker

Joanne is a Social Worker at think.grow.connect. Joanne is trained and specialises in ACT therapy. In addition, Joanne is trained in Duel Diagnosis Addiction Therapeutic Support, supporting those who struggle with addictions.

Joanne has worked in government and not-for-profit organisations, across statutory services, child youth and family services, and community development. Additionally, Joanne volunteers for woman in recovery support programs.

Joanne has completed her Bachelor’s in Community and Human Services as well and her Masters of Social Work.

Joanne is available on a Monday and Tuesday.

YAKUB OGUNSINA

Social Worker

Yakub is a Social Worker at think.grow.connect. He joins think. grow. connect with past experience in Family services and Youthwork.

Yakub holds a Bachelor Of Social Work and a Graduate Certificate of Autism studies. Yakub loves to create a safe and open environment in in his session.

Yakub works with individuals over 8 years of age.

Yakub is available Monday - Friday.

CHLOE HENRY

Practice Manager

Chloe heads our fabulous administration team. Chloe joined the team in 2022 and has a wealth of knowledge about our service and how we may be able to help your family.

Chloe has completed a cert III in Business.

Chloe is available Monday - Friday.

MELODY DERBYSHIRE

Receptionist

Mel is a great addition to the admin team at think.grow.connect. Having worked in the disability field, Mel shows compassion and provides a high level of care to the community.

Mel is available Monday - Wednesday.

WENDY TOMAINO

Receptionist

Wendy is the newest addition to the admin team. With years of experience in healthcare, Wendy has a passion for helping others and is eager to support families with their enquiries.

Wendy is available Tuesdays - Thursday.

MADDI EDWARDS

Finance & Payroll Manager

Maddi joined the team in 2016. Having worked in many roles within think.grow.connect, Maddi is now working remotely while she travels Australia in 2025.

Maddi has completed a cert III in Business and is currently completing her cert IV in Human Resource Management.
